✦ The Night Sky in Your Browser: A Free Web Connect-the-Stars Puzzle
Remember the childhood wonder of spotting constellations in the night sky? Now you don't need a clear night or a dark countryside — just open your browser and trace the Big Dipper, Orion, and Cygnus with your own hands.
Star Lines · Constellation Observatory (https://aibxm.cn/oc/stars/) is a free web astronomy puzzle game. Scattered across a dark sky are true stars and decoys — connect the right ones to reveal real constellations. Complete a constellation and a genuine piece of astronomy trivia lights up. By the time you're done, 12 constellations are firmly in your head.
What makes it different?
Real constellation data: the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, Crux, Cygnus, Lyra, Orion, Taurus, Scorpius, Leo, Ursa Minor, Gemini and Aquila — star shapes and lines drawn from the real sky, each with an astronomy fact
Three difficulty levels: Beginner shows guide lines; Stargazer leaves you on your own; Astronomer doubles the decoys, hides star names, and doubles your score — even grown-ups will have to think
No ads, no download, no sign-up: open and play; progress saves automatically
Bilingual: auto-switches between English and Chinese by region, or pick manually
Global leaderboard: climb the Observer Ranking
Zero learning curve: drag or tap to connect — phones, tablets and desktops, fullscreen supported
Who is it for? Parents looking for a fun astronomy primer; anyone who wants a quiet five-minute puzzle; and everyone who has ever looked up at the stars.
